My Priorities
- Water Rates: The city’s plan to triple water rates by 2029 is unacceptable. With record tax increases statewide, Snohomish should be doing everything it can to ease the financial burden on families.
- Parking & Downtown Access: I oppose the proposed First Street parking changes that reduce available spaces. We must protect accessibility for both businesses and visitors while preserving the small-town charm that defines Snohomish. Additionally, We must continue to add additional parking options.
- Parking Meters: This is Snohomish, not Seattle. We should maintain free, accessible parking for residents and visitors.
Civic Center Proposal: The $73 million Civic Campus proposal is unaffordable and unnecessary. We need to focus on core services and responsible spending. - Fiscal Responsibility: Four years ago, Snohomish had a $1 million surplus. Today we’re running at a deficit. The city must live within its means and operate with a balanced budget.
- Infrastructure: Potholes, road maintenance, and city infrastructure need consistent attention and responsible investment. We can and should fix what’s falling behind.
- Parks & Community Spaces: I fully support maintaining and improving our parks, trails, and gathering spaces to serve families and youth across the city.
